Meet Edward Rasheed

Ed was appointed Cuscal’s Chief Strategy Officer in July 2026. He leads enterprise strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate development initiatives. He and his team work closely with the MD, Board and Executives to shape Cuscal’s long-term direction and priorities.

Since joining Cuscal in May 2025, Ed has played a key role in Cuscal’s recent growth, including the acquisitions of Indue and Paymark New Zealand, which have strengthened the Group’s scale, capability and regional presence.

Ed brings deep experience in strategy, transformation, and corporate development across financial services. Prior to joining Cuscal, he was Group Strategy Lead at Perpetual and Associate Director of Group Strategy at National Australia Bank and MLC. He began his strategy career at Monitor Deloitte, specialising in corporate strategy and transformation, after working in business development at Macquarie Group.

Ed holds a Master of Business Administration from Macquarie Business School.
