Meet Manell Saad

Manell was appointed Chief Legal Officer and Company Secretary in July 2026. Manell leads Cuscal’s legal and company secretariat functions and has held a number of senior legal roles since joining Cuscal in March 2023, including Head of Legal.

Manell is an experienced legal executive with over 20 years’ experience in banking and financial services, deep expertise in corporate, commercial and regulatory matters, and a strong track record leading complex enterprise-wide projects and initiatives.

Before joining Cuscal, Manell was Deputy General Counsel at ASX-listed finance company FleetPartners Group. Prior to that, Manell was Senior Banking Counsel at ING Bank Australia and held legal roles at St George Bank and Westpac.

Manell holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) from the University of Wollongong and is admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW and the High Court of Australia. Manell is also a member of the Banking and Financial Services Law Association.
